Indeed. According to the release notes, it is not supported. In fact, Outlook 2007 support is the reason 11.3.0 got held back, to fix this specific issue.

Well, if there is anything that one should ever read it's probably the Release Notes. For the status of 11.3, please check viewtopic.php?t=9394

Is this a bug in Interface?

When you open up the Scalix webmail in browser and click on contacs and view a contact and in the contact details area right click and click "back", then it shows the previous contact information without updating the header name, and when you do it continuously it shows history of what you performed ago, try to send a mail and then see the contact information and click "back" continusouly, you will know what i excatly mean. I could have provided you the screen shots but im not on that machine (office machine ) im at homoe rite now.

that is most likely a bug. the browser back function does not work anywhere in SWA and should actually be suppressed. can you log one with exact reproduction steps?

1st i created a mail and sent to myself i.e user tom

then i went to contact list and checked peter's address and clicked "back" and this is what i get, the contact info of IT team but the header is unchanged to "peter"
ss-2

Now i again clicked "back" button and i see the contact info of "support", check the header its still unchanged

Yet again the header is unchanged, When i again clicked the "back" button i got the body of the mail i sent in the 1st screen shot, if ia hve done few more things before sending mail, that will also be shown when i click "back" button at this point.

way too much work. :_)

Just put in a bug at https://bugzilla.scalix.com, and simply make it to describe WHERE in the SWA UI the back button is accessible at all - it shouldn't be. When used, back button will create malfunction, that's basically the case with every AJAX application.

Cheers, merry christmas,

That's ok. As an externally logged bug, it will have to be reproduced and confirmed by qa anyway before it ends up back on my desk for targetting and priorization. Looking at your entry, however, it would be good if you did add exact browser version and os version. Also, it is unclear from both your big report and forum post where exactly you clicked to get the back button. The browser toolbar is off for the screen you are in, so I assume that you get it by right-clicking. Most right clicks are captured by our code and converted into displaying our context menu, which does not have a back function. So please explain.

Finally, please read bugzilla definition of severity. I don't think that under that def, this report qualifies as major, given that it has most likely been in the product forever, maybe even since the Scalix 9 days and it does not seem to affect operation unless you take some pretty edgy path through the ui and even then the outcome is pretty much non-fatal... :-) for me, this is normal sev at most, if not minor, unless I have so far failed so see something essential.

Also note that for non-serious bug reports, a full, complete and accurate bug report speeds up handling in all phases, ie qa, myself and development considerably, so will result in way quicker handling of issues. Therefore, if you're brief or lazy, no reason to be sorry except for towards yourself, if you are looking for resolution. :-)

Again, merry Christmas.

Its happening on both IE7 and Firefox 2.0 im using Winxp sp2 , I right clicked inside the Contact details area (area below the Big Header "Peter") and nah im not hurrying on getting this solved I know it is a minor issue but honestly speaking i didnt read the definition severity if i would have read this i would gave it lowest priority cuz i want 11.3 to be released asap and dont want to interrupt u ppl with these minor things.

Happy holidays

:-) Now we get into RTFM space.... please check product documentation first.

The functionality is right there in the admin console where you can set a flag to hide directory entries, etc.
