I got a worry about this problem, when im using https it always asks to accept the certificate, cant this be done automcatically? On individual systems i think it be done but when users are using different computer this is a problem for me as i see, so what could be the solution

One more thing, does the scalix outlook connector works for Vista i got version 11.0.02 connector and scalix server, cuz after i installed this connector it doesnt show "scalix server" when trying to configure profile, it does show this on winxp machines.

For Vista use 11.2.0 or the soon-to-be-released 11.3.0.

The certificate needs to be generated and and signed by a CA your browser recognises. VeriSign and Thawte are two popular ones. This costs money. CACert is free, but the certs aren't in most browsers by default, so you need to manually import it in each browser.

A new problem with scalix connector, i have download the scalix connector for outlook version 11.2 but after i configure it, whenever the outlook is trying to get closed its taking alot of time, but when im using non-scalix account its working great, why is it hapening?

okay i will say it again

i downloaded the scalix connector for outlook 11.2 and installed it, now after i configured it to use a profile, I can easily and confortablly login but when im trying exit Outlook 2007 its hanging up, same thing is happening on WinXP and Win Vista. i tried scalix connector log (syslog on client machine side) doesnt show any errors in it. I will paste the complete log in few mins.

Is SmartCache enabled on these profiles? Is this happening with every profile that you set up?

Can you try another PC and see if the same thing happens?

After generating this log scalix connector exited but still my Outlook 2007 is hanged and now it says "Not Responding" if i click close it asks whether to end it forcefully (EndTask)

I did try it on different pc's but the same result.

Can you make a profile w/ no smart cache and then close Outlook and see if it hangs. We could then confirm SC is having some issues.

It looks like from this message:

Seems like the computer has a lot running and it is out of resources therefore the slow closing.
