Hi

The migration from Scalix to Scalix you can do easily using sxmboxexp / sxmboximp
That preserves Outlook rules and lots more try man sxmboxexp

Fo godaddy I am not sure what that is. If it is a pop mail into Outlook you can import the Outlook PST into you Scalix message store using File > Import/Export > on a Scalix connected Outlook.

If Godaddy is a webmail account you are out of luck

Thanks i will do that,

In the scalix-scalix migration I have both the systems with different Domain names so i think sxmboxexp doesnt work. So I think I have to go with .pst & OL import & export thingy.

Hi

sxmboxexp is independent of domain names and even to some extent mailnodes.

if you use sxmboximp -u "user name" -a /path/filename

then even mailnode differences will not be an issue!!

Hi

But if you want to use PST migration feel free.

sxmboxexp does preserve scalix rules (Outlook SWA) Outlook views and lots more. But it is your choice how to migrate.

Code: Select all

sxmboximp -u "user name" -a /path/filename

When i try to migrate a user between different mailnodes, my 11.3 server is throwing an error says /blahblah/CN=blah note found on this server or something of this sort.

Hi

Look at

Code: Select all

man sxmboximp

You may have to specify name / mailnode to import to

sxmboximp -u "First Last / newmailnode " -a /path/filename
