It does indeed. Tomcat 5.5 is not supported. Please remove the RPM and install Tomcat 5.0.28 as shipped with the product.

After the evaluation time do we have to install scalix again?

Hello,

follow these steps:

1 rpm -e tomcat5-5.0.30-4
2 run the Scalix installer and this time chose to install Tomcat 5.0.28.

You will not need to reinstall after the eval, if your question is will you lose mail after upgrading, the answer is no, absolutely not.

Now i have unistall tomcat 5.0.3. But how i can install 5.0.28. I didn't see anything on the installation programm.

You had Tomcat 5.5 installed, not 5.0.3.

The installer will recogize a missing Tomcat RPM. If it does not, it is still installed. What does rpm -qa | grep -i tomcat ouput?

Can I recommend reading and following the Scalix Installation Guide PDF? It can be found in the documentation directory and is called scalix_installation_guide.pdf.

Also, have a look at the release notes file RELEASE_NOTES.htm.
