Unable to send mail outside the domain

The problem is, I cant send e-mail outside our domain but I can send e-mail within our domain. I have scalix-9.2.2-eval installed and with a jakarta-tomcat-5.0.28 and jdk1.5.0_05. Can anyone help me troubleshoot and remedy the problem?

Please search the forums before posting as this has been discussed a number of times.

It comes down to DNS not being configured correctly to allow reverse lookup.
