Can scalix be installed from command line instead of GUI. And scalix only works with sendmail not qmail. I know sendmail is not as powerful as qmail and security

The answer is yes. The installation guide explains how to run the installer in command line mode.

To answer your second statement, yes, we only work with sendmail for outgoing mail. If you can get it to work with qmail, you are welcome to post the results here.
