Spamassassin guide... the updated one

Postby dg_w » Thu Jan 12, 2006 5:24 pm

Followed the link ie
Please go to http://www.scalix.com/support/knowledgebase.html and enter the word "SpamAssassin" into the search box.
and searched, the only spamassassin guide I found in the is the long winded, add IP etc ...I am sure I found an easier way documented ? Just involded installing the packages, editing smtp.cfg and sendmail.cf ?

Does anyone have a link to that one please ?

Thx

Thats the one thank you

Re done spamassassin ... Still playing up as my posts in Scalix Server ...
I will get there :)
Basically
Spamassassin working ... Not re-writing headers though .. letting spam through untouched though the headers show it picked up as spam above the set limit..?
Would love to have it delete \ bounce mail aboce say 6 :) ...

There is a typo in the technote. You need to use the service name spamassassin rather than spamd.

The correct service name is used further down that same step.

The technote is being amended.

Cheers

Dave
