Fedora Core 7, 11.3, Library Error During Install

Postby joshland » Mon Feb 11, 2008 4:18 pm

The Scalix install cannot successfully configure because of library errors

2008-02-08 12:00:52,152 CRITICAL Failed calling command '/opt/scalix/bin/ommakeom -h scalix.v.......'ommodacln: error while loading shared libraries: libom_acc.so: cannot open shared object file: Permission denied', ......

This errors repeats over and over. I ran 'ldd' against the library, and all the obvious links are there. My fedora image is in an OpenVZ VE, using the fedora-core-7-i386-minimal pacakge. I had to add a lot of packages to meet the dependancies, and I wonder if I am missing a runtime dynamic library requirement somehow.

Google hasn't helped. Any ideas?

First Error

Postby joshland » Mon Feb 11, 2008 4:32 pm

Here appears the actual instance of the first error:

Updating conversion and language specific configuration files.
This may take some time, Please Wait ...

omaddacl: error while loading shared libraries: libom_acc.so: cannot open shared object file: Permission denied
ERROR: [OMINST 225] Could not add queue or acl for service SMINTFC.

I don't have any problem - os far as I know - with ACLs and I am lost here.
