SAC Login after successfull Install of scalix - IMPORTANT!

ich glaub es hackt! nach erfolgreicher installation von scalix 11.1 oder 11.2 war es mir nicht möglich, mich mit meinem admin benutzer bsp. sxadmin-server@domain.de in der SAC-Console anzumelden.

angegeben wurde, wie es als hinweis angegeben ist, der benutzer

sxadmin-server@domain.de - mit dem dazugehörigem passwort.

Login failed, wie so oft...

heute 09.50 MET hab ich aus interesse nur mal

sxadmin - mit dem dazugehörigem passwort

angegeben und ich konnte mich in der SAC-Console anmelden! AHA

ich hoffe mit dem hinweis all jenen geholfen zu haben, die vergeblich unter der konsole irgenwelche befehle für die Benutzermodifikation eingegeben zu haben und letztendlich auch wie ich nicht zum erfolg kamen!


i think it sucks! after succesfull installation of scalix 11.1 or 11.2 it was not possible to login with the sxadmin-server@domain.de Email-Adress under SAC-Managemt Interface

i used, like the example the full qualified domain of the sxadmin user like this

sxadmin-server@domain.de - with passwort

Login failed, how often

today 09.50 MET time i type only the user

sxadmin - with his password

and it rock! the login was succesfull!!

ill hope it was an good information for all the other people who has trouble with login after succesfull installation into the SAC-Management Interface!

SAC only allows logins with the Auth ID, not the user's name or email address like the other clients do.

good to know, ...but login with the the username is also possible

If so that is fairly new. Just check - I believe the default Auth ID for the sxadmin user is also sxadmin. But I am glad you got it sorted out.
