RHEL4, Openldap, get "evaluation period expired" m

Postby hazem95 » Tue Jan 01, 2008 5:32 pm

Hello
I've installed Openldap for authentication for both Scalix and Samba all on the same RHEL4 server (client's request)

Port number was changed for Scalix, as per http://www.scalix.com/wiki/index.php?ti ... t_from_389

Configured scalix to work with Openldap as per: http://www.scalix.com/wiki/index.php?ti ... Management

I ran omldapsync, and synced scalix with Openldap.
Most users have been imported, and look fine in both sac, and with omshowu.

In trying to access via SWA, I get an "evaluation period expired" message for all users, as long as the correct password is entered. Putting in an incorrect password gets a "bad username and password combination" message.

Tried adding user in scalix, and gets same evaluation period message.

Tried restarting Tomcat, and eventually the whole server, no change.

omcheck -i -s and omcheck -i -d errors have been fixed

# omtidyu -MB -u username
The supplied user name is not known on this machine

omstat -a shows that all daemons other than Item Structure server are running.

In SAC, the SWA boxes are checked, accounts are unlocked. The problem applies to both standard and premium users.

I understand from the posts that there may be a bug in the RHEL version of 11.2
Am I right? Is there a fix? should I uninstall scalix 11.2, and install an earlier version?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Hazem
