scalix-installer fails if installing if no $HOME exists

Postby dwerthmu » Tue Nov 27, 2007 2:50 pm

Using 11.2 installer on a rhel5 system. Not a big issue but an error non the less.
( Nice to be able to install a fully functionally email server in less than 30 minutes)
The user doing the install doesn't have a home directory on the server, install is started via sudo.

Install gets to the point : and doesn't complete. I looked at the install script but its encoded so I can't suggest a fix. I created a home directory for the installing user, uninstalled scalix then reinstalled and all worked fine.

Hi there,

I've copied your information to the bugtracker - I guess this is probably where it ought to be posted.

Regards
