Access Hangs to Admin.jsp

Hello,

I am using the following environment:

Fedora Core 2
Scalix 9.1
Tomcat 5.4.4 with compat
JSE 1.4.2_06

Basically when I go to http://localhost:8080/sac/Admin.jsp it simply hangs on the Administration console login with the message "Attempting to Log In".

As It stands I can not evaluate the product so am itching to get going.

You need to be running tomcat 5.0.x rather than 5.5.x. At the time the latest version of Scalix was released, 5.5.x was still in beta so no testing was done. We know that 5.5.x has problems but downgrading to 5.0.x will resolve the problem.

:lol: Basically I decided that the installation was unsound so just removed all of the software as per manual and reinstalled with a down level of tomcat as suggested. Thanks for your help. All is OK for the moment.
