migrate to new v11, smartcache initialize

Hello,

Just migrate v10 to a new v11 test machine. My outlook was told to exit, wait and restart in order to initialize smartcache. Does this have to happen to each user? To be seamless, can I manually initialize them in advance?

You could script something using sxmbcprep. There is a good man page for it, but yes, you'd need to create a new cache for each user.

Having said that, What I'd recommend is that you just leave people on the v10 version of the connector, and then upgrade them one by one as time allows. The v10 version will work flawlessly against a 11 server, and it does not support smartcache at all, so there won't be requirement. Do NOT use a v11 client against a v10 mailstore. Upgrade the server before you upgrade the clients.
