reinstalling scalix -- error saying POP3 is running, help

Hello,

Needed to reinstall Scalix, after uninstalling it, however I am getting an error saying that a non-Scalix POP 3 service is running. I stopped sendmail and I don't have any other mail agents. Runnig SLES 10 and also checked in services and I can't find another MTA. What can I do?

Try things like

ps aux | grep mail
ps aux | grep pop
ps aux | grep post

See if you get anything back.
If you do, and it appears to be an MTA or mail like service, kill it. (Usually kill -9 and the pid should deep six it.)

Thank you, that worked. However, after the install scalix server won't start. Where are the scalix logs? I don't see an output in /var/log/messages.

Check the fatal log at /var/opt/scalix/??/s/logs/fatal or run the command omshowlog? The
tomcat logs could be found at /var/opt/scalix/??/tomcat/logs?
