Hi!

Yes you can upgrade directly, you need not upgrade the OS. See the Release document's
"Supported Environments" details at:
http://downloads.scalix.com/.community/ ... #supported
which clearly mentions Scalix 11.0.2.1 supports SLES 9.

Instead of upgrading to 11.0.2.1, I would rather suggest you to wait for 11.0.3 which might
be released pretty soon.

If it is ineluctable please go ahead.

Thanks,
Subir

I'd agree with Subhir, go to 11.0.3. It's available now.

Is it stable?

Hi,

dont angry with me but my questions is this version stable? The Version 11.0.2.1 was stable too but the forum says nothing good.

Anybody out there who has installed it yet?

Thx a lot:-)

In fairness, the Forums are a place for people to post bugs. There was an issue with 11.0.2, which was quickly resolved by 11.0.2.1.

Scalix 11.0.1 was a good server side release, anything after that has been solid. In my opinion, 11.0.3 has the connector there now too. If you wanted to wait for a few more days, feel free to wait. Generally, if there's an issue, we see it pretty fast. So far, every person I've given it to has had high praise for the 11.0.3 connector, particularly due to the BBDM 4.2 support. Based on preliminary reports, 11.0.3 looks great, I'm quite confident recommending it.

Kev.
