??Upgrade path for Scalix Connect??

My users all use the SmartCache feature. It appears to work well minus a couple hick-ups here and there but because the user can pull up his/her mail without being actually connected is great.

So my question/problem is:
I need to know what problems I will be likely seeing if I upgrade server and leave clients at scalix connect 11.0.2?
Or what problems may occur if I install 11.0.3 scalix connect without recreating the profile?

In the Release notes http://downloads.scalix.com/.community/ ... NOTES.html
It states:
When upgrading from Scalix 11.0.1, Scalix 11.0.2 or Scalix 11.0.2.1, you should create new profiles for all clients using SmartCache to benefit from all fixes contained in Scalix 11.0.3

But this is a crazy expectation if not nearly impossible for us.

I have users with multiple gigs of data in their cache. Some connect over home DSL or cable lines. Capturing this data again is very time consuming. Recreating the cache every time there is an upgrade for currently 40 users and growing is not going to work.
