Installation error on Fedora Core 4

Postby jdeason » Fri Sep 30, 2005 3:46 pm

I have tried to install Scalix 9.4 Community on 2 different Fedora Core 4 machines with no luck. After typing "sh scalix-installer-community" I get the below error:
:command not foundmmunity: line 8:
:command not foundmmunity: line 21:
:command not foundmmunity: line 24:
:command not foundmmunity: line 26:
:command not foundmmunity: line 29: syntax error near unexpected token 'do
:command not foundmmunity: line 29: 'for p in $*; do

I checked to ensure that I am running all of the pre-reqs and it appears that I am. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Is it possible you've transferred the install files from a Windows box ? If so, it looks like you haven't converted the script from Dos to Unix format.

Cheers
