Webmail and SAC login Failure

My new server install will not allow me to login. The error is that the authentication server cannot be reached for SAC and that the Mailserver is unavailable for webmail. The following is the error i have found in /usr/lib/sasl2/logs/caa.log :

This seems to be key.

How did your install go ? What platform are you installing on and why are your logs in /usr/lib/sasl2/logs/ ?

The install went fine, no errors noticeable, I am running Ubuntu 6.06 I installed from the CE/Raw deb's those are just the logs I could find involved with this whole system that point to any errors at all. My other logs are in /var/opt/scalix/logs/ but they are clean. I had one error in there before about SMTP Relay but that was a port conflict with Sendmail that I cleared up by killing the process and disabling the demon feature in sendmail.

you did not do all the mandatory edits in ubermanager.properties, swa.properties and res.properties as detailed in the wiki, otherwise you would have set the referenced variable to true.

please also post ce raw related install issues to the CE Raw forum - this forum is actually for questions regarding the installer-based install process for supported platforms.
