Scalix on UBUNTU Distro - Admin Server Error

Postby sscotti » Mon Aug 07, 2006 1:28 am

It took about 1/2 day, but I did finally get Scalix installed and running on an UBUNTU Box. I used java-package to convert the Java-SDK to a debian package and installed that way. Otherwise, using Apache, Tomcat and other component from the UBUNTU distro. Nevertheless, it is a little bit of work to get it running.

I still have an issue in that I can't sign in to the Administration console, although I get to the login screen. It tells me to check the server logs and it looks like it is having trouble finding the domain scalix.sscotti.com (My domain).

Also, how do Apache and Tomcat interact in this instance? It looks like I am talking to the tomcat server all of the time?
