I've search the forums with any luck...
Installed scalix 10 on FC4, works great apart from one thing, when running /usr/bin/newaliases it hangs and I find these processes running:
[root@serv ~]# ps -ftpts/0
UID PID PPID C STIME TTY TIME CMD
root 19206 19204 0 17:08 pts/0 00:00:00 -bash
root 19423 19206 0 17:34 pts/0 00:00:00 newaliases
mail 19424 19423 0 17:34 pts/0 00:00:00 /opt/scalix/bin/ommapsmtp mailer
it touches /etc/aliases.db okay thou
[root@serv alternatives]# newaliases
[root@serv alternatives]# type newaliases
newaliases is hashed (/usr/bin/newaliases)
[root@serv alternatives]# ls -l /usr/bin/newaliases
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 32 Mar 17 16:11 /usr/bin/newaliases -> /etc/alternatives/mta-newaliases
[root@serv alternatives]# ls -l /etc/alternatives/mta-newaliases
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 27 Apr 23 17:32 /etc/alternatives/mta-newaliases -> /usr/sbin/sendmail.sendmail
[root@serv alternatives]# ls -l /usr/sbin/sendmail.sendmail
-rwxr-sr-x 1 root smmsp 779096 Mar 22 18:53 /usr/sbin/sendmail.sendmail
weird because /usr/sbin/sendmail.sendmail is sendmail 8.13 and not Scalix, any clues why it hangs or if it should launch Scalix ommapsmtp?
Sendmail is listing on loopback and Scalix on public IP port smtp.
