Hello,

I am considering installing scalix 12.5 from scratch and migrate few mail boxes from very old 11.3 version with sxmboxexp (running it on 11.3) and sxmboximp (running it on new 12.5 installation).
I don't want to update the whole scalix server.
I care only about users mail folders and messages.
Does anybody know if it's possible ? Has anybody done such "migration" ?

Hi Serguei,
Such a thing would have to be tested on an old 11.3 scalix server environment. Then only can we know for sure.
However to be really safe , why dont you try the imapsync tool . With imapsync you'll be able to copy mailboxes to the new server.
That should work just fine. If it does then you can just delete the old mailboxes from old server.

I will try sx import/export and will fall back to the imapsync method if any issues are found.

You can import the file into any test scalix mailbox using "sxmboximp" command.

I have been in a similar situation, migrating user mail folders from 11.3 to 12.5. I have ended up with using imapsync.

Why are you not try with "sxmboximp", i agree Imapsync it's also good option, we can cross check synchronization between two servers.
