Can't change Hostname

I want to test Scalix 12.5 metssaging system, and using CentOS but can't change Hostname of my server???

Please help..

Which method you are using to change host name GUI or CLI, and What is version of your OS ?

Hi,

Using CentOS 7 64bit version.

Tried to change hostname in file

Code: Select all

/etc/sysconfig/network

added entry

HOSTNAME=sxsrv.testing.local

as well as file

Code: Select all

/etc/hosts

added entry

10.14.57.25 sxsrv.testing.local sxsrv

but hostname not changing....

Please look into this.
