deny folder creation

Hi,

at our place there are a couple of users, who are working on the same mailaccount via IMAP, configured in theirr mailclient Thunderbird.
Every now and then it happens, hopefully in error, that someone moves a complete folder with 12000 mails or creates a folder, which others don't see. They try again and again and finally i need to clean out four times the same folder in different places via omcontain.

Is there a possibility to deny creating and moving folders via IMAP, but leave the ability to move mails, e.g. archiving them?

btw.: Is it still true, that you shouldn't create new folders under system folders like the in- or outtray?

regards
Hannes

Hello Mr. Hannes

You can apply acl to folders and deny rights. but in your case not possible, here all users are accessing same mail account and they are the owners of the mailbox and Owners have full rights by default.
