Error message from Outlook to SWA on Scalix 9.2.1

I am in the process of downloading and upgrading our Scalix to 9.4 so maybe this issue will fix itself, but I wanted to post this in case it doesn't.

I have a user who just sent an email from Outlook (with the 9.4.1.1 connector) and it got to everyone who uses Scalix through Outlook fine. The people who haven't been switched over yet have her Outlook stationary as an attachment (but that's ok. It's not a problem for anyone). I just found out that if I open the email through SWA (using Firefox 1.0.7), I get a message that pops up when I open her message. It says: "An external application must be launched to handle cid: links. Requested Link: cid:703573817@15112005-04A1. If you were not expecting this request, it may be an attempt to exploit a weakness in the program. Cancel this request unless you are sure it is not malicious."

Is this normal?

Hi Chad,

This stems from how we handle certain embedded images. I wish I could say 9.4.2 handles them better, but unfortunately I can't. The real improvements will be in our next major release.
