first: 'hello' to the members of the forum and the scalix team!

i think the title describes my problem

but here few facts to help to solve it:

we wanted to migrate our old scalix-server to new hardware. short story after many days and many different ways: i installed a redhat ES 4 system and with rsync i got the most needed files. then i installed scalix 11.0.2 with --debug. one big problem was postgresql, but i 'solved' it by renaming the old postgresql-folder and let the installer create a new.

everything seems to work well: the accounts and mails of the old system are copied, webmail is okay and i was able to send mails with the web-gui.

BUT: i am not able to get access to the sac-gui. when i tried to log in with a wrong password or username, its not possible of course (so there must be contact to the user/password check-file/record what ever). but when i use the right password, i can not login - the error (now in english) "can not load serverlist" apears.

could it be a problem with the postgresql?

i hope, you can help me!

three other hints:

1. yes, i used a fresh installed system. more then one time

2. i copied the old folder(!) of the postgresql-data-folder into the new folder - nothing changed

3. when the server reboot, scalix did not start automatic. all services are stopped or disabled. so i start the scalix-services by hand... this could not the reason for my problem above, i think . but, after so much hours, i would say: i know nothing

Can you post the output of /var/opt/scalix/??/s/logs/fatal logs ,

Our guess woould be to run omcheck to fix permissions

I have the same problem (serverlist not found in http://server/sac after login with sxadmin ; http://server/webmail work fine ... )

System: Debian/etch4, scalix-debian-11.1.0-GA, new install...

Hi,
I know, this topic is very old, but I had the same problem with all installations (with different versions, also the newest)
But now I found a solution for me for this problem thad works on both of my installations:

In the file /var/opt/scalix/sr/caa/scalix.res/config/ubermanager.properties I must comment out the line

so it works fine.

I post this solution, because, I searched the web, but I don't find a solution for this problem. So I tried a lot of properties and finally I found this solution. So if anybody else had the same problem, he could try this.
