Web Access + German Outlook

Hi,

I have installed the Scalix suite in a german environment. It seems
to differ from an english environment in the names of special folders:

Calendar -> Kalender
Drafts -> Entwürfe
Contacts -> Kontakte

When using WebAccess on an account that was first used by a
german Outlook client, it won't even start - only after I create the english
named folders in Outlook, WebAccess will allow login ... but still presents
the false folders as special.

Question:
1) can I change (how?) the special folder names expected by WebAccess?
2) special, non-ASCII characters (the ü in Entwürfe) are not displayed correctly. How can I make this work?

Thanks,

Stephan

Stephan we have a gernan version. I'm curious where you attained the version you have and it it is the english version. The Scalix version 8.2.2.1 contains some fixes for this.

Hi,

thanks for the reply. Too bad it came so lately. I just ordered
Exchange server due too the difficulties (and poor support)
of Linux based solutions.

BTW: I got the software that I tried as a result of an 'official'
evaluation request to your company. It offered me the choice
between American and british english - no other options :-(

Sorry that this is too late for you.

Scalix 9.1.1, released in October 2004, fixes all interoperability issues with German Outlook and also offers a native German web client on Firefox, Mozilla and Internet Explorer.

The current evaluation download links lead to this bilingual English/German version of the Scalix system.
