Can't send from SWA

One of my users was on the road and was using SWA to access his email. Everything was working for a while, but now he can't send. He clicks new message, completes the email, but when he clicks send, the window does not go away. The message is not sent, and the only way to close the window is by hitting the X in the upper right hand corner. It then prompts him, asking if he wishes to save the message as a draft. It's only his computer that this happens on. He is using internet explorer. I had him try it on several other machines to see if it was something with his account, but it worked on all of them. It must be something in internet explorer. Thanks in advance for any help. -stephan

Hi Stephan,
Since things were working and it appears to be limited to just one machine, it sounds like there's something in that machine's local cache that's causing a problem. Could you have him log out of SWA, then from the IE menu, go to Tools, Internet Options, then under Temporary Internet files have him click on Delete Files and then OK. Now, have him log back in and try to send a message.
Thanks,
Rachel

I have the same problem and it is very weird... On this *one machine* Firefox can send emails but IE can't. It is not account related, since I try with multiple accounts with same results... BUT, it worked on this machine before! the same accounts work fine on any other machine with IE. I have removed temp files, disabled addonns, even did a system restore... WAIT - here is some error code that Scalix support might recognize. It says Line: 2
Char: 13689
Error: Type mismatch
Code: 0
URL:http://www.mydomain.com:8080/webmail/newMsgWindow.jsp?locale=en_US&type=new
What is wrong with this one machine??
Thanks,
TheDude
