Hi,

I can login to SAC with admin and a user with admin rights, but login to webmail (SWA) failed. Message said that user or password is wrong.

Try

omoff -w -d0 imap

ps -ef |grep imap

If you have any imap sessions hanging around kill those off. Then:

omon imap

Try logging on again.

ok, i tried, but doesn't work. There were no imap processes running.

The connect with the outlook-connector isn't working too.

edit:
I found a post that first seems to be the same problem:
FC4 64bit, sac working, swa login fail.

The post solved the problem by changing the user from premium to normal and back to premium, i tried it, but the same error appears. "Wrong user or password".

Hi,

I reinstalled Fedora and intsall Scalix again. Now its working! I don't know what the problem was. The only difference was, that I installed some Keboros authentication Packets, but I can not say if that solved the problem or another thing?!

For Fedora users: it is important to disable SELinux and to write a hosts file with a FQDN entry Before installing Scalix!

I have the same problem. SWA-Login is not possible for sxadmin and other users, created using SAC.
SWA works fine for all users syncronized from ActiveDirectory.

Please see my sxadmin and a testuser, login to SAC works, login to SWA doesn´t work.

I have no chance to reinstall the system, we are going in operation next week.
In my testinstallation before I never had this problem.

Any idea?

This is most likely a changed password, please use omof -d0 imap rci; omon rci imap

Same result, it does´t work using IMAP or SWA

I tried POP3 to accees the sxadmin mailbox. It works.

I found this in /var/log/messages, may be of interest.

This means that you haven't installed the SASL libraries as documented in the requirements or that you are using a 64-bit machine and haven't installed the 32-bt SASL libraries.

The problem is fixed.
1. I copied the missing libraries from a 32 bit machine. No more error mesages.
2. Login problem of local users caused by wrong /var/opt/scalix/sys/pam.d/ual.remote.

You need to run the command as this will tell you if you have the 64-bit or 32-bit versions of those RPMs.

You need to make sure that the 32-bit versions of the following libraries are installed:

cyrus-sasl-digestmd5-2.1.21-3
cyrus-sasl-plain-2.1.21-3
cyrus-sasl-crammd5-2.1.21-3
