Can't mail to mailing lists with SWA, while outlook is fine

Postby cari » Thu Sep 30, 2010 11:34 am

As said in the headline, i can't mail to mailing lists in SWA, while it works flawlessly in outlook with the connector.
The mailing lists won't get underlined when choosen from the address book, and scalix webmail can't resolve them.

I have attached some pictures to illustrate the problem.
Our scalix-version is 11.2.0.11121

I hope for your help, your work is really fantastic.
Thanks in advance,
Cari

This is currently not possible.

I have referenced a bug which is accessible for everone who registers at bugzilla.scalix.com.
The message the OP got is related to the available LDAP-sources. By default the SYSTEM directory and the standard Contacts-Folder of a user is integrated to the Addressbook in SWA.
It is possible to integrate LDAP-based directories. The complete syntax is described in /var/opt/scalix/??/webmail/swa.properties.

I remember that a Scalix partner in Germany has a project called OpenFD which provides a central Addressbook through LDAP. see http://www.openfd.net/adressverwaltung-mit-scalix-openldap-anbindung/2009/07/ (german, but the website of the project is in english http://www.openfd.de/).
