Macintosh 10.5 and Firefox 3.x and Scalix Webmail 11.4.6

Postby PeterR » Mon May 24, 2010 7:29 am

Hi,

i've got hit by a nasty problem inside SWA on Mac and Firefox 3.x only.
SWA works nice, but rightclicking on a folder does not provide a context menue for this folder, no matter if you are in your Inbox or inside Public Folders.
Everything else works fine and nice, exept the context menu. This means, you cannot assign ACL's to Public Folders or create Subfolder or update your current view of a folder, and so on.

It only happens on a Mac 10.5.8 and any Firefox Version 3.x
Tested on Firefox 3.0, 3.5, 3.6, no Firefox Addons.
Mac has all available updates
Tested this on two different Macs, same result, I even exchanged the mouse (.. just for the rare case that mousebutton does not work )

Using Firefox 2 on the same Mac does not show this kind of bug.
Using Firefox 3.x on a Linux or Windows Computer does not show this bug, too.
Only MAC affected.

Can please anyone confirm this issue, or better can anyone give me a hint how to solve this ?

Scalix System is 11.4.6
Was an upgrade from 11.3.0.77, so no fresh installation.
All Readme's and Guidelines followed, even searched this forums brought no solution.

Greetings & TIA, PeterR

Hi.

Found a solution for this problem:

Press and hold the Ctrl Button on the MAC-Keyboard and then leftclick on a folder you want to modify.
The Context Menue appears.

Only valid for Mac 10.5 / 10.6 and Firefox >= 3.x

Maybe that helps anyone who runs into this problem, PeterR
