Send as another user in SWA

I have a scenario where a user has two email addresses, user@domain1.com and user@domain2.com. This user wants to be able to send messages where the From line in the message header is from either account. According to this thread:

you can do this by settings up two email accounts and having one account delegating access to the other account.

I have one (hopefully quick question about this). My impression from the post is that if you're using Outlook, the delegated user will be able to see the other mailbox and send messages on behalf of the other user. Is it also possible to do this in the web client or is this functionality only exposed in Outlook?

That feature is only exposed through Outlook.

With release 10 you can set your reply-to address in tools/options if that helps.

dschol,

Delegation (which is the ability to act on behalf of somebody else) is not available in Scalix Web Access at this time. We are working on this feature though, and it will be available in an upcoming version of Scalix. Stay tuned!
