Save username and password on Blackberry

My boss just bought a Blackberry Curve 8330. I can get to our mobile web page and check the mail, but I can't save his user name and password at the log in screen. I have checked the "Remember me" box but it does no good. I tried changing the browser to emulate MS explorer and several other browser types listed, but to no avail. I know I could set up a IMAP connection, but have been told that deleting an email on the Blackberry will not delete it on the server. He also doesn't want to now when an email arrives, he just wants to be able to check them at the end of the day.

I would definately setup an imap account on the blackberry. He can just disable notifications for new mail. Also, deleting on the blackberry will delete from the server with imap.

I believe that's stored in a client-side cookie. Maybe check whether it's accepted and/or stored on the phone.

But yeah, IMAP works a lot better.
