Problem with large Mailbox

Hey,

i have big trouble with large mailbox's(>2000 Mails) which is used via SWA.
The login and access to the web interface is very slow and sometimes impossible.
Does any body got an solution to tune the server or the web interface.

The same problem appears with a large filled calendar.

What version of Scalix? I would highly recommend upgrading to 11.4.4 if you haven't already. There are a number of imap issues with earlier releases that should be resolved. Aside from that there's only two things to do: repair the mailbox, and tune tomcat.

For repair, you want to do an omscan on the account, and clear the imap cache.
For tuning tomcat, make sure it has enough memory allocated.

Also, browser versions matter. You may a recent firefox is better at larger mailboxes than, say, IE6.
