Logout in SWA?

Hi, will there be a logout feature in SWA in release 10? It would be very useful to us as we have a large help desk - and they don't use shell / command line stuff. Therefor when changing an account using SAC, there is no way for them to kill a process left from a closed browser window in order to change that person's account.

Thanks.

There have been changes to the underlying ommodu commands that will allow you to update user information while a user is still signed on. There are a couple of attributes such as authentication ID that will still require the user to sign off. This should meet the requirements for most administrators that do not have access to the command line.

With Scalix 10, there will be an extra argument for ommodu that can force a user's IMAP session to end. However, this needs to be run from the command line.

Cheers

Dave

Actually, all attributes modifiable through SAC, including the Authentication ID, will be changeable while the user is logged on in Scalix 10; the remaining unchangeable attribute is the user's UnixId which is not exposed through the graphical admin interface anyway.

:-) This should make admin's life more easy. We listened. It's going to be announced and released really soon now, stay tuned.
