Two problems - Firefox 3 on Ubuntu and the Rules Wizard

The first problem is the bigger one:

I am using Ubuntu/8.04 (hardy) Firefox/3.0.5, and the Java of the web client will happily work for the SAC, but not for the web client. I can open messages and compose them, but any attempt to hit send or save fails. The client works fine on my Windows XP laptop, but most of my users aren't using that. Anyone else having this problem?

The second question is, on the Rules Wizard, I am only given the option of performing an action if a Message Header contains a given field. We're currently trying to set it up such that auto responses such as out-of-office messages only happen when a message header does *not* contain a given field. I'm sure that given sufficient work, we could come up with a means of getting around this limitation, but I'm wondering if there's a configuration option I can turn on somewhere to enable it for my users.

Yes I have a similar Problem!Webmail seems to work, but I can't get into rules wizard via fqdn/Scalix/rw using Firefox 3.06 under Arch. It shows an empty page though it's not empty.
With Konqueror the rules wizard's page works without any problems and also with Firefox 3.06 under windows there are no problems at all.. that's really strange!

Could someone please enlighten us?

Thnx a lot!
