I have recently installed Scalix 9.2.4 comunity Edt. on SUSE 9.3 Pro.
I would like to setup a meeting and invite a user to attend my meeting, but I don' tseam to have the scheduling TAB to do so? Is this a limitation of the Comunity Edt.?
Thanks for your support.
Regards,
Jason

It is. That edition has 5 'free' full users. I am not sure of if there is a time limit on the full access since they are for evaluation purposes. Go to SAC and change your account to full if you have less than 5.

Hi Stacy,
Besides the administrator I have just created two users so I should expect limitations for the moment. Also I am using the comunity version that should have a time limitation. Lease let me know if I am mistaken. Thx.
I went into the SAC, but couldn't find a setting to place the two users as "full". I am a little disoriented. Can you please be more specifc.
Thanks for you support.
Regards,
Jason

In SAC, Users, [a user]. Right side select Advanced. To the right of auth ID select enterprise user or community user.
This is on 9.4.2.5

:-) Stacey, thanks for jumping in here...
just to add to that.... since November, Community Edition actually offers up to 25 "Full/Enterprise/Premium" users for free!
And... they are not for evaluation purposes, but for full, unrestricted use. This includes the Outlook connector and full groupware functionality within Scalix Web Access. Scalix Community Edition is just meant to be the best free email product for home and small office user as well as for small organizations and enterprises.
We'll also keep it updated with new features; even more so, in the next Scalix release, coming this quarter, the difference between Community and Enterprise editions will be a simple license key, so upgrading from one to the other will be painless and not require any kind of change in installation.
Simply... enjoy! :-)
Florian.
