I have a user who is on Windows Vista using IE7 and he gets this error message when he clicks on calendar in webmail.

"Failed to display messages for folder Calendar. The browser recovered some data, but it was unable to display it. Click Send/Receive to try again"

Send/receive does not do anything and he has tried to open/re-open browser a number of times and still the same thing.

Now on his home computer which has XP and IE7 he has no problems - calendar loads fine.

User travels all the time so needs web to work on his laptop - is there any issues w/ having Vista and getting webmail to work correctly w/ calendar?

Any suggestions?

You have cleared the IMAP cache? May be an issue there.

Also try with a different browser and see if that works for the user.

I was going to clear the IMAP cache, until he told me it worked on his other computer with the same browser. It works, just not on the Vista laptop-

so Vista laptop IE7- get this error
Home computer - Windows XP Pro IE7 - no problem

I will reset the IMAP cache and report back w/ results.

If it was me, clear the cache in any case. Do you have another Vista/IE7 machine you can test on?

I reset the IMAP cache and still same error on the Vista laptop. Anything else I can try? Is this a Vista problem?

I'm also experiencing this problem. Can somebody advise/help?
