BI Directional Support in SWA

Hi,
There seem to be a problem with BIDI in SWA.
When writing email containing both left-right and right-left languages (in my case herbew and english). The text is not properly aligned.


My question is: Is there a builtin support for BIDI texts in SWA? Is such support planned down the roadmap?

Hi Jacob,

This is a very interesting topic. No effort has been put in the product so far in order to support such languages. We mainly rely on the capabilities of the web browser itself which should offer some level of support for such languages.

Anyway, I cannot promise you anything as to whether this will make it in an upcoming release of Scalix Web Access this year, but as a developer, I will definitely check it out and see what it entails.

I think as a starter you could add a button/keyboard shortcut to change the whole text formating from left-right to right-left.
