[quote="criptus"User DB reinstall didn't work :([/quote]

Briefly recap everything you've done to this point. Have you blown out and reinstalled CentOS from scratch? Is your current mailstore vital, or is it just a "test" store that you've been experimenting with?

I did what you posted, reinstalled tomcat and related services, and postgres soon after that. At first it worked, but after reboot same problem appeared again.

I've been 'playing' with eksperimental data, although users are real. No panic if I loose scalix - I understand this as a learning process

I haven't reinstall CentOS yet, because everything else is working fine at the moment. I do not plan to reinstall CentOS unless necessary.

I'll go on later and report the result...

Hmmm... interesting.

The same problem again, but I discovered what caused it.

I reinstalled Scalix from the scratch. Evereything worked fine until I recovered /var/opt/scalix data - MAILSTORE.

Procedure:
- stop services
omshut
service scalix-postgres stop
service scalix-tomcat stop
service ldapmapper stop
service sendmail stop
service httpd stop
service scalix stop
- rename /var/opt/scalix/sx/
- untar data backup
- confirm file permissions and ownerships
omcheck -i -s > fixiti
sh fixiti
omcheck -d -s > fixitd
sh fixitd
- update the mailstore
ompatchom
- start services
omrc
service scalix-postgres start
service scalix-tomcat start
service ldapmapper start
service sendmail start
service httpd start
service scalix start
- rebuild user indexes
sxmkindex

That's bad, very bad. Imagine this was vital data!!! So it means, that actualy something inside /var/opt/scalix caused web access problem? And we blamed other services before?

I do not understand what would that be...
