Hi Kev

Thank you so much for that!

By saying it is using 2.5GB RAM I'm just relaying what the Webmin System Status page reports, which is that there is 2.96GB RAM in Total, and that there is 2.54GB RAM in use.

Can't wait to allocate the extra RAM to Tomcat...!

Thanks again

Update

Postby Eugene » Sun Sep 21, 2008 10:10 pm

Hi Kev, everyone

I've installed 11.4.1u1 over the weekend and a number of our issues seem to have been resolved. I've also implemented the performance tweaks suggested in this thread as well as some others.

Performance is back to (possibly even a bit better than) normal.

Our system address book works properly for the first time ever - it used to be painfully slow to populate the initial list but now it is "fast-as".

Disk IO also seems to be a bit less crazy.

I'll post an update in a couple of days' time...

...... You can verify that by signing into the mobile client. If it works, then postgres is fine, if it doesn't work, then check /var/opt/scalix/??/postgres/pgstartup.log..........

Similar problems with my SWA. Here's my pgstartup.log:

Code: Select all

LOG:  logger shutting down
LOG:  logger shutting down
LOG:  logger shutting down
LOG:  logger shutting down
LOG:  logger shutting down

???? how to get it to log

thanks
