What device are you using? You need to use a legacy device like Windows Mobile 6. Windows Mobile 7, Android, etc aren't supported by Scalix and are known not to work. Assuming you are on a supported platform there shouldn't be any configuration needed expect for checking off ActiveSync support in SAC.
Sadly. the new version of Scalix was supposed to ship two years ago and still hasn't shipped. There are rumors here that Scalix has laid off the programmers and is going out of business and I don't see those rumors being denied.
