So is there any recent phone besides iPhone 4 that works with Scalix ActiveSync?
Here's what I tested so far that are not working:

Palm Pre works great.
Are any of those on the list of supported phones? Not a good excuse, but they don't claim to support Android (just becoming popular when AS was last updated) or Windows Phone 7 (didn't exist when AS was last updated).

None of these devices or even their os was around when Exchange 2003 was released but they work. None of us (including Scalix.) But it appears clear that Scalix isnt implementing the ActiveSync protocol they claim to have licenced.
I have an HP webos device (at&t something plus or pro) but was unable to test because the touchscreen isnt working.

And honestly it's not worth my time to even test on WebOS, there is a reported bug that sounds exactly like the issues I am seeing:
https://bugzilla.scalix.com/show_bug.cgi?id=21356
Customer has three accounts that cannot be synced with any Palm Pre device or
emulator (yet the same devices and emulator happily sync all other accounts
they've tried to sync)
Customer can sync these three problem accounts with iPhone.
Result:
Mails were synced Calender and contacts were not.

WebOS works great with AS. It is listed as a supported device,so that is expected...
After seeing your comments in the bug report, I'm done responding to your posts in these forums. (not that you care)

Well there isnt much you could have done to resolve these bugs without access to the Scalix source code.

If you flash CyanogenMod 6.1 on the G2 it should work just fine.

Why, does it include a pirated version of one of the 3rd party ActiveSync programs?

I put that bugfix in, and seems to me the latest palm update corrected some issues. We now have 2 palm pre's that work fine now. Most switched over to iPhones while waiting for some bugfix, patch so they could use the "smartphone" and not just a pretty mobile phone.

Tried out "Touchdown" ActiveSync software on HTC phone and it connects but the entire mailbox is blank. Scalix is out of business, so I'll be testing these devices against Exchange 2010 and report back.

Interesting. I saw a number of licenses keys being sent out from the fulfillment department yesterday and one of the support folks asked me a technical question, so there must be some ghost working in those abandoned offices.......
I am scared now.
Florian.

Sorry for hijacking the thread....
If this is the case, and i do believe you, then why the hell cant Scalix give and sort of official comment or status on their position with all the current outstanding issues (activesync errors, 11.4.7, 11.5 release dates, outlook 2010 support, outstanding bugs etc etc etc)? No word on the website, no word on the forums, no word through distributors, no word out on google for 18 months. Is it any wonder that people think ghosts are inhabiting the Scalix offices?
Florian, you are like Obi Wan Kenobi when it comes to Scalix..."you're our only hope"....or at least that's the impression the lack of official response implies.......
rant over.
