I have a very similar situation:

-CentOS 5.5 default install
-Scalix 11.4.6 Default install
-Added my license

Activesync isn't working. I performed the torubleshooting steps outlined above and here are the results:

[root@mail scalix-11.4.6-GA]# sxlicense -u
Scalix License Usage

Local Usage

Premium Users: 4
Standard Users: 2
Can ActiveSync: 1

Totals
Premium Users: 4
Standard Users: 2
Can ActiveSync: 1

root@mail scalix-11.4.6-GA]# omshowu -m all --activesync Y
My Account Name /mail/CN=My Account Name

https://my.server.here/Micosoft-Server-Activesync produces a 404 not found.

I have never that a simple browser check against this URL works.

It looks like this in /var/log/httpd/access.log:

Code: Select all

x.x.x.x - - [03/Jun/2010:19:34:47 +0200] "GET /Microsoft-Server-Activesync/ HTTP/1.1" 404 304 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3"
x.x.x.x - - [03/Jun/2010:19:34:53 +0200] "GET /Microsoft-Server-Activesync HTTP/1.1" 404 303 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3"

while a successful AS connection produces entries like:

Code: Select all

x.x.x.x - - [03/Jun/2010:19:31:26 +0200] "POST /Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync?User=user&DeviceId=ApplXXXXXXX&DeviceType=iPhone&Cmd=Sync HTTP/1.1" 200 52 "-" "Apple-iPhone/705.18"

Given that you have installed the scalix-wireless.rpm:
- look at the httpd logs: is the request appearing and do you see a 200 response?
- if not, look at /var/opt/scalix/??/tomcat/logs/scalix-wireless.log
- then into scalix-api.log in the same directory

The AS application relies on a healthy API. You can check if this is basically working by accessing the "Mobile Webclient" at http://your.server.there/m
