Unable to sync calendar

Hi Everyone,

I ran into a problem this week with Scalix ActiveSync using AstraSync on a Blackberry. The Blackberry is getting a '500 Internal Server Error.' Syncs email and contacts fine (Except for the fact it's only loading 2 days of email when it's set to 2 weeks). I tried wiping the device and reinstalling the AstraSync software to no avail.

I checked the scalix-wireless.log and I have tons of these entries:

thats something i also have with an iphone
when i read this ActiveSync Forum here there are alot of people with different devices, where syncing the calenders leads to unhandled exceptions. how can we find out what is the cause of this? any help to increase debug level and post it here?

could it be it is caused by the german characters such as öäüÜßÖÄ and that for the english speaking rest of the worl things run fine?

yeah, it's interesting as to the reason. Still totally unable to sync the calendar while email and contacts continue to work.

Also, whenever I reactivate AstraSync with the server, even with no data on the device, all of the recurring entries in the calendar end up getting deleted. I thought it could be related to AstraSync but I've tried it with both AstraSync and NotifySync so I have to believe that the problem is the server, not the device software.
