ActiveSync Auth Problem

Hi,

I have installed Scalix ActiveSync 1.0.1 on my Scalix Server (11.4.4) without problems.

But everytime i try to sync a mobile device with the server, i get the following errors in the scalix-wireless.log:

error.  Check configuration/connections and restart the Tomcat server.
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused


ActiveSync is licensed and activated for the user.

I import and authenticate the users with microsoft active-directory.

Does anyone have a hint for me?

If you think it is the same issue and need some help or clarification with what I did to solve it just let me know.

I commented out the following in the tomcat server.xml and ActiveSync is working well now.

Just to clarify, I had to un-comment the section. It also changed a few of the other settings in the settings, that I returned back to the original, whatever changed it was nice enough to leave the patch file lying around. Did you have to comment it out or was that just a typo. If you really commented it out, was it in the xml file twice?

Ive got the same issue as the OP, and my server.xml already had the 8080 connector un-commented.

Activesync was fine, its only been since upgrading from 11.4.4 to 11.4.5 (also upgraded activesync from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1) that the issue with authentication has started.

I get the following in the scalix-wireless.log when trying to connect via activesync

11.4.4.2575 does not match recommended version pattern : 11\.99\.*|11\.[4-9][0-9]*\.[5-9X]+.*, Platform Service is not available session will abort.

I dont know why its complaining about version 11.4.4.2575 when ive upgraded to 1.4.5.

Any ideas? Seems so similar to the issue discussed here, but the fix doesnt seem to apply.

I had the same problem after the update from 1.4.4/1.0.0 -> 1.4.5/1.0.1

After i restart all scalix deamons the sync works fine again.
