you have not been granted permission to send messages on beh

Postby William » Fri May 25, 2007 10:52 am

Hello,

I got this error message on trying to send 2 emails from my drafts folder. The Outlook application seemed to hang strangely before hand so I had to reboot. The cursor was changed to a resize cursor and no interaction with the Outlook application or its windows could be done, it was however responding in Task manager and was 'redrawing on dirty' fine when ctrl+tab was used to change between its various windows.

Now editing and sending either of the two messages that were open at the time from the drafts folder cases the follwoing message to appear. The emails in question are being sent using my account in the normal manner.

"You have not been granted permission to send messages on behalf of the specified user.

The only option is to copy the entire email into another empty one and send.

I just tried to making a new email to myself and then closing it, and opting to save the changes, going to the drafts folder and opening it again and sending it, this causes the same error message to occur. It seems to be ongoing.

Sending of messages from Drafts-folder fails w/SC

I'm seeing the same problem, using connector 11.2.0.52, server 11.2.0.11121 and both Outlook 2000 and 2003 SP3, if smartcache is turned on.

The problem is reproducible here - if the user has smartcache turned on, I get the same error as you. If smartcache is turned off, sending works fine. I just tried it with my account (after getting reports from a user), and as soon as I created a profile with smartcache I was unable to send the mails from the drafts-folder.

Same Problem here.
Mails that are saved in the draftsfolder and reopened can't be sent. Same error like above.
