Scalix Rules - Outlook 2003

Postby mrhumphreys » Wed Nov 02, 2005 7:25 pm

Hi,

Don't know if this is a bug, or operator error.

In my mailbox I have several folders and sub folders.

e.g. I have a folder called software and a sub folder for Asterisk-at-home and a sub folder for spamjab (anti-spam service)

I have set up rules that move items from the inbox to the Asterisk-at-home sub folder (/mailbox/software/asterisk). The rules run until outlook is closed and re-opened, when an error message tells me the rules need checking or activating.

When you look at the rules, they have lost the destination folder details. Is this because it is a nested folder?

It's not a major issue, but I thought I'd raise it.

Thanks

Matthew

Hi Matthew,

How many folders in all do you have? Also, is this a server side rule or a client side rule?

Thanks,
Don

Hi,

I have about 25-30 folders, and the rules have been set in the client (outlook).

Many thanks

Matthew

Hi Matthew,

If you could tell me the exact number of folders you have, the exact error message that outlook gives you and the version of the server, scalix connect, and outlook you are using that would be very helpful.

Thanks,
Don
