cannot install

I'm trying to install Scalix Connect 11.0.4 on a Windows 2000 computer but the install fails, stating "The wizard was interrupted before Scalix Connect for Microsoft Outlook could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete installation another time, please run setup again." Any advice?

Looks like I got it successfully installed after updating W2K with the most recent MS updates, although the installer still crashed after installation completed.

You need to unzip/unrar the connector twice:
One to extract the bulk of the files in a folder.
Another to extract the msi installer from the setup.exe file.
Do not double click the Setup.exe file. Right click it and select extract here. This is not made all that obvious by scalix anywhere.

Unzipping shouldn't be necessary but I did it anyway and it gave me a new error.
Could not find mapi32
This is a dll file stored in
C:\WINDOWS\system32\mapi32.dll.
I copied the dll from a working computer and the connector installed without a hitch!
