Outlook 2003, empty "for follow-up" folder

Server System: Scalix 11.0.0 GA
Client Connector: Scalix 11.0.0 Outlook Connector
Client System: Windows XP SP2
Application: Office 2003, apart of Office Small Business Addition with SP2 installed
When our users flag a message for "follow-up", it no longer appears in the "For follow-up" folder in their favourites. Furthermore, all previously marked messages prior to the upgrade from 10.0.1 to 11.0.0 GA are no longer appearing in that folder. Unfortunately I wasn't observant enough to notice if it was working under 10.0.1.
Is there a fix or work-around for this issue?
Thanks.

Any progress with this? This also appears to happen in Office 2003 Pro. Will this be fixed in the next maintenance release?

The issue was resolved after I upgraded from Scalix GA 11.0.0 to 11.0.1. I did notice that the SIS played a major role. The users where I did not create an SIS index were not able to see their flagged messages in the "For Follow-up" favourites folder. Once I created their SIS index however, they were then able to see their flagged messages.
This only affected Premium users, imap users were not affected since they were sorting their messages into their Personal Folder folders which was Outlook's native environment.
Thanks a whole lot for responding. I'm glad it was resolved.

can't get this to work

I am having the same problem with items not being saved in the "Flagged for Followup" folder. When I startup Outlook and flag messages they appear in the "Flagged for Followup" search folder, but when I restart Outlook, click on the search folder, it's empty.
I tried the suggestions in this thread and am still having the same problem. I have recreated the SIS index from the Admin interface and from the command line, but no luck.
Any other suggestions out there?

This may be a dumb question, but is SIS enabled for that user?
Are your other users' accounts acting the same way?
I noticed that when I start Outlook, the folder is indeed empty. But when I select it, I can see that the Scalix Connector is parsing the mailbox for flags, which it then updates the "For Follow-up" folder for the remainder of my Outlook session. But the "For Follow-Up" folder is indeed empty when you just opent Outlook. A minor inconvenience.
This is slightly unrelated but I know this would work if this account isn't acting like your other users. This solution may -not- be feasible for you since it's a bit labour intensive, especially for a large mailbox.
I had a user with a poisoned message which was not allowing him to log into his account. Any attempts to reset the password from the SAC failed. No new mail was being accepted. The poison message eventually was caught by the error engine, but the user's mailbox and client was not allowing him access. I exported his email from a machine that could access his account (Windows 2000, Office 2000), then deleted his mail account using the CLI. I recreated his account and re-imported his email. The new mailbox was accepting mail again. I know this sounds like nuking a pond to shoot one duck, but it worked as a last resort. It was approximately 1 day of trying to debug before I realized it was faster to do the prescribed process (a severe solution I admit), than to waste more time and the user's time trying to get it to work.
Hope this helps,
Rich

Just upgraded from 11.0.1 to 11.0.2.1. I was doing some testing to ensure that everything went well. However, I noticed that the "For Follow Up" is still not working properly.
It adds messages that are flagged immediately in the current session, which is great. However, if I close Outlook and then re-open Outlook, the messages no longer appear. Even after selecting the "For Follow Up" folder and initiating a search. None of the previously flagged messages appear. Though if I select a new message and flag it, the new message alone will appear in the "For Follow Up" folder, until I close Outlook. Then once again, nothing appears in this folder.
Client Outlook 2003
Scalix Connector 11.0.1 and 11.0.2 (tried it before I upgraded the connector)
Scalix Server 11.0.2 on RedHat ES4
Should I report this in the bugzilla?

Hi,
same problem on my system.
Scalix Community Edition:
scalix-platform: 11.4.5.2663
scalix-server: 11.4.5.13150
Outlook Connect 11.4.5.9045 (Build 234)
MS Outlook 2003 (11.8313.8221) SP3
And additional to the described problem. When I start marking mails for Followup, they do not appear in the Followup-Searchfolder. I have to right-click on the Followup-Searchfolder then select "Diesen Suchordner anpassen" (modify Searchfolder) click on "Ok" wait a few seconds and then the marked mails appear in the folder.
If I start marking mails in a folder where no Followup mails where before nothing happens again. I have to right-click again and select modify folder. I have to do this everytime.
As I have absolutely no problem with this Followup-Feature when I use my existing pop3 Server I guess it is a scalix problem and not a Outlook Problem.
