Hi,

Does the Scalix Outlook connector support Outlook Aynwhere (RPC over HTTPS)?

Best regards,

Scalix Connector for Outlook talks to Scalix server using proprietary UAL protocol.

If you want your outlook clients to be able to connect to scalix server from outside your network you have to open port 5729 on your firewall and NAT it to the IP of your scalix server.
In addition you may want to open also port 5757

- Scalix UAL (5729)
- Scalix UAL FreeBusy (5757)

Regards.

While opening up port 5729 will work, the access is not secure.

port 5767 is secure for Scalix Outlook access from remote. Configure stunnel on the scalix server for 5767 and you can connect securely.

There is info available here.... http://www.scalix.com/wiki/index.php?title=HowTos/ScalixSecurity#Setting_up_stunnel
